When overcome with woe and care
When burdens deep in life befall
Let there be joy within your heart
For He will guide you through it all

God is your strength by day and night
When you are weary from despair
Your consolation and your might
In every trial that you bear

There is a place of joy and peace
Where pain and sorrow all will cease
Where you will live a life anew
And God is evermore with you
