Home is Where the Heart Is
There's no doubt that anybody from Vallejo has never said "Vallejo is wack!" I have. There's nothing there to do, you have to go out of the city to go to the mall, and let's face it.. Vallejo is.. wack.
When I moved there beginning of high school (mind you, I've grown up there because my grandparents lived there since I was a baby), I hated it! I loved Union City and wanted to go back. I had no friends in Vallejo, and ugh.. I wanted to leave so bad!
I attended Hogan and Jesse Bethel High and met some hellllla dope ass people. (I love my friends <3) I graduated, and decided to move back to the Union City/Fremont area for college because I just had to leave Vallejo. I always have the whole time I lived there, actually. I've posted something like this before on my Tumblr.. But I don't really think anyone truly understands how I feel about Vallejo! I miss it and I actually do love it there.
Although I was no born there or anything, I've grown up there. High school is supposedly where you find out who your friends are, and I have. There are a lot of memories I have left in Vallejo. Vallejo is my home and it's just so comforting being there. Everything is just so familiar.. and though people might not like the fact that everyone knows everyone, that's one of the things I love most about Vallejo. We're all friends and I found out.. no matter where anyone has moved away to or kind of have lost touch with others, when we all come back to Vallejo, everything is the same. The same? Ugh. Yea, I know, but.. that's what I love about it!
It is nice to be away from Vallejo, but I love being there. Would I move back? Perhaps. I just know I cannot be too far away from home. Especially because my family is there. I would love to be around my friends more as well. People might think, why stay in Vallejo and do the same shit and see the same people? Well, I don't know. That's not really the point I'm getting too. I just have come to realize how much my heart truly is in Vallejo.
Tap, senorita bread, big slide park, water front, Pista, Blue Rock, Church's Chicken, DK.. Only in Vallejo!
Yup, we get it crackin :) 707 say it backwards! Hahahahaha.
